Neureuth

Neureuth is one of the most beautiful hiking destinations above Lake Tegernsee. The trail leads through dense mountain forests to one of the region’s most popular mountain inns. Some sections of the ascent are challenging, but the effort is rewarded with wonderful views of Lake Tegernsee and the opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved break surrounded by nature.

From Kreuth, this challenging hike follows the Schwarzenbach stream and passes a waterfall before reaching the spectacularly situated Tegernsee Hut. Alpine trails and magnificent views of the Buchstein and Roßstein mountains make this a true mountain adventure. Sure-footedness, a head for heights and good physical fitness are required.
