Around Lake Tegernsee

At around 21.5 kilometres, with the lake always in sight and the mountains seemingly within reach, the Tegernsee Lake Loop combines leisurely cycling with the most beautiful sides of the Tegernsee. The mostly flat route takes you all the way around the lake, passing idyllic lakeside landscapes, charming villages and offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

To Lake Schliersee

A perfect choice for discovering two of Upper Bavaria’s most beautiful lakes in one day. Starting from DAS TEGERNSEE, the route follows the Bodensee-Königssee Cycle Route through the scenic Prealps to Lake Schliersee. Meadows, farmsteads and mountain panoramas accompany you along the way before returning to Lake Tegernsee along the same route.

From DAS TEGERNSEE, this varied route leads via Rottach-Egern through dense mountain forests and along clear mountain streams to Albert-Link-Hütte at Lake Spitzingsee. The route can be extended individually, for example to Lake Schliersee.

Once at the top, you are rewarded with regional specialities, a sunny terrace and magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.
